GETTING LRG IN THE STL

The LRG team has been in town for the past couple days, tearing it up. They're super nice dudes, and it's been sick watching them skate. I went to the blind school today and met up with them and some other homies, where a session was well under way. -Worful

My quiver

Whenever I give talks at schools, students often ask: "How many skateboards do you have?" I'm a little embarrassed to say I've lost count!

Here's part of my collection from my 30-year obsession. They range from the Hobie Super Surfer (front board in second photo) the clay-wheeled wonder I received from Santa on Christmas Day, 1972, to my off-road Mountainboard (the one with the balloon tires).

What can I say. Some women collect shoes...

BACK TO BASICS

My good friend Tim got me into skating in junior high. I met Jabari through him that first year I started skating. That was fifteen years ago. Tim grew up just down the street from Bristol Elementary, where Jabari's seen here doing a back tail. Crazy. -Worful
