Zoo York - The Hells Kitchen Bunch Series (2010)

Zoo York's new deck series "The Hells Kitchen Bunch" was released yesterday, created by Morning Breath (Brooklyn, NY) and consist of a roach (Suski), slice of pizza (Reed), hot dog (Kirby), token (Westgate), coffee cup (Dr. Z) and the Empire State Building (team)... rotten apple style!

We know everyone is planning/filming their lines right now for the contest so we decided to post the first video response. We chose the historical Jaimie Thomas Brooklyn Banks Line from Toy Machine's Welcome To Hell (1996). If you don't have this on DVD please buy it now, it's one of the best skate videos of all time! private indoor training facilities are the worst thing in skateboarding. i don't want to watch anymore footage of scientologists on perfect flatbars. the berrics is slowly ruining kids perception of skateboarding. it's a country club for elitists. get out in the streets!

SKATE OF THE UNION

Tonight Joel, Bobby, and Drew came and picked me up to go to the Granite City indoor park for a nice session. Joel turned heads when he turned this ramp upside down, Bobby set up a gap and heelflipped it, and then Drew went way overboard with this backside crailslide. Fantastic! Then we headed back home and listened to Obama handle his business on the radio. Not a bad night. -Worful

Editor's note: The title of this post was thought of by none other than Bobby. I'm so pissed I didn't think of it first, thanks Bob!

Jeff Pang Has Relocated To The West Coast (2010)

Jeff Pang confirmed Saturday that he has relocated his "Wu-Pang Clan" to the West Coast via his UXA Today blog. You can read his original post or Peter Huynh's post for more details. We wish Jeff and his family the best of luck settling into their new home... he will be missed back here on the East Coast... especially here in New York!

Skateboarders & More Show Support at Save Brooklyn Banks Rally - Pics (2010)

The huge turnout at today's Brooklyn Banks rally made it pretty clear that this iconic spot means a lot to many people--and not just skateboarders.

Steve Rodriguez and the 5Boro crew along with packs of skaters were joined by BMX riders, rollerbladers and parkour enthusiasts (who especially caught everyone's eye). Filmers and photographers were out in full force, including Fuel TV, which was taping a segment hosted by Rodney Torres.

Once the Banks close (can be any day now), they won't reopen until 2014. Access will be cut off, unless we make our voices heard to the DOT. Show your support and stay on top of the most recent updates by joining the Facebook group to Ensure Your Continued Access to Brooklyn Banks NOW.
