1ST SEMI-ANNUAL PUB SKRAWL

+

Tomorrow, Saturday May 1st, there will be a pub skrawl (yes, a pub crawl on skateboards) beginning at the skate spot formerly known as "Shitside." It must be noted that the spot under the Kingshighway bridge also refers to itself simply as "The Shit" or by the cryptic symbol O*O. Despite these confusing twists of self-reference, it has been reported that the work produced at the spot has not lowered in quality or become less prolific.

!!!

We will rendevous around 6 o'clock and skate from there to whichever bar in the vicinity we decide on. This will be following a day long filming mission starting at the tennis courts and ending at O*O, to chronicle some of skating and work done at DIY spots in St. Louis for a video piece on The Skateboard Mag's website. If you have any footage of construction at the spots or footage of good skating at the spots, contributions will be happily accepted for inclusion in the edit.

It has also been said that O*O will be under generator lights that same night, and if that is the case then a somewhat tipsy night session will also be in order. All are welcome, hope to see you there!

Tonight - Give Me My Money Chico & Deathbowl to Downtown (2010)

Tonight LRG is premiering "Give Me My Money Chico" down on Bleeker Street and the Stevens Institute of Technology (Hoboken, NJ) is having a special screening of Deathbowl to Downtown to raise funds for the Andy Kessler Foundation.

MORE LOCAL RIPPAGE

Here's a nice video by David Probst of some local rippers that was sent to us. I'm not sure I approve of all the cursing, but the skating is sick. Thanks guys!

ROOOSEEEEEELLE!!!

Yesterday everyone woke up to Jack and Randy breaking it down on the Rap-master keyboard. It was amazing, and I hope Randy posts the video he shot of it. After that we walked down the street to get some breakfast, and then headed off for a fun session at the Roselle park. If you've been wondering what David Uthus has been doing since he moved to Chicago just read his shirt. I got to see Ryan, who's responsible for printing the amazing Dude Life boards. Also Bobby's good buddy Rob showed up. I asked him if there was anything he wanted to shoot, and we tried a couple things but wasn't satisfied. But then it came to him: ollie to front disaster. Then I headed back home to St. Louis. Thanks guys! -Worful

CHICAAAGOOOOOO!!!

Thanks so much to everyone who organized Dave's event, and to everyone who showed their support in person or through an online donation. Your help is very appreciated! The event itself seemed to go off without a hitch, and was a super fun time. Lots of people showed up, tons of stuff was auctioned and raffled off, and some great bands played. And check out these shirts that Anders Nilsen drew, modeled by Randy! So rad. Anyway, thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone! -Worful
