Astoria's Getting A New Skatepark (2010)

Ground under the Triborough Bridge (Astoria, Queens) has already been broken for the new $1.25MM skatepark. Who Skates, who recently built the latest Bronx skatepark sent over some plans to IrollNY and also started posting updates on their blog. Who Skates is also looking for some carpentars & concrete finishers to help work on the site so email tom@whoskates.com if you'd like to apply.
